What a Great Start!
Coming back to school was a big transition for all of us, but we are so impressed by the way everyone is managing it! We have enjoyed getting to know each child and what they have to offer to the class. The children have been exploring the classroom and making new friends. It is so exciting to watch them discover their environment and build on their interests.
We have noticed the children be particularly interested in art, constructing, experimenting with sand & water, and reading books together. Since this is a new classroom to the children, we have been encouraging them to explore all the materials available to them in the classroom. This means the children have been working hard on figuring out how to create with different art mediums. They have also been figuring out how to build structures with a variety of building materials.
We would love to incorporate examples of culture from each family into our classroom space. We encourage you to send in family pictures in a plastic frame, empty, clean food containers and articles of clothing that represent your family’s culture, and any other items that may helps us learn more about your family’s culture.
